The Atlanta native helped 1,000 families in need this holiday season by giving out warm meals and 3,000 toys to children at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community Center in DeKalb County. Parents left the community center with boxes of gifts and new bikes to spread some holiday cheer.

“I’m a grandma of eight and I was trying to figure out how I was going to buy all my grandkids a gift,” a recipient named Angela Howard told WSB-TV2.

Congressman Hank Johnson and Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson honored 21 with four proclamations and two community action awards for his humanitarian efforts over the years. Going forward, Dec. 21 will fittingly be known as 21 Savage Day in DeKalb County.

Giving back isn’t something new for 21, who hosts his annual Issa Back to School Drive in August to equip students with all the supplies they need before kicking off the school year.

21 Savage set the tone for 2024 with the release of his American Dream album in January. He recruited a plethora of guests to join him, including Doja Cat, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Mariah the Scientist and more throughout the 15 tracks.

American Dream debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 133,000 total album-equivalent units earned in its first week on the chart.
