Bun B’s Trill Burgers Crowned ‘Best Burger In America’

Bun B’s Trill Burgers are continuing to cook up a storm as they’ve just been crowned the “best burger in America” by Good Morning America.

Picking up the honor on Friday morning (July 29) in Times Square, an ecstatic Bun B posed alongside GMA co-host Michael Strahan with a trophy in one hand and a $10,000 check courtesy of the morning show in the other.

Taking to Instagram to celebrate his victory, the UGK rapper wrote: “We did it! Trill Burgers was named best burger in America by @goodmorningamerica.”

Congratulatory messages flooded the comment section of Bun B’s post, with Slim Thug, Statik Selektah, Roc-A-Fella’s Kareem Burke, former NBA player Quentin Richardson and more chiming in.

“H-Town, baby,” Bun B said at the event. “We did it, baby, Trill Burgers. It feels amazing. God is good and my team is amazing. You’re gonna get the best burger in America.”

The Underground Kingz legend took his Trill Burgers on the road to Rolling Loud Miami last weekend (July 22-24), giving backstage personnel a taste of what everyone is talking about.

The burger drew a rave review from Philadelphia 76ers superstar James Harden. “Hey Bun, you got something special, big dog,” Harden said. “That shit fire! Fire.”

Bun B responded in his caption, “My lil bro @jharden13 asked for @trillburgers and by the time i got the camera out he was done!”

Next up, Bun B is bringing Trill Burgers to LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells Festival in NYC on August 6 where he’ll host the first-ever Hip Hop food court with his Trill Mealz Food Court.

During a recent interview with HipHopDX, Bun revealed some of the famous names behind some of the other brands that will be on-site.

“I know Mia X is going to be in the building for her Whip Dem Pots,” he said. “I know Styles and Jada are going to actually be around that day as well. We’re still trying to figure out commitments on Ghostface as well as E-40 and Nas. But we are going to have at least three of the people whose brands are represented in the building that night.”
