Wu Tang Clan legend, Ghostface Killah, is back with a new song and an exciting announcement via Rolling Stone. Yes, not only has the emcee released a new single titled ‘Rap Kingpin,’ he’s also gone ahead and announced the sequel to his classic album from back in 2000 with Supreme Clientele 2.
Fresh off The Final Chamber tour and kicking it with the rest of his clan, Ghostface Killah plans to release the album on August 22nd, 2025! The project is touted to come out via Mass Appeal, who are on a historic release run as part of their iconic Legend Has It campaign.
And legend has it, that more legendary releases from certified MCs are well on their way to you. Not to mention that the album itself has Nas, Raekwon, Method Man, GZA, Redman, Conway The Machine, Styles P, M.O.P. and Dave Chappelle on it — now that’s a lineup worth the buck!
As for the freshly released single, the track ‘Rap Kingpin’ is a shot of nostalgia for hardcore Ghost fans. The song makes exquisite use of Eric B & Rakim’s ‘My Melody’ & Supreme Clientele’s ‘Mighty Healthy’ to create a concoction worthy of rap’s most deadliest. Check it out below!
