Ice Spice Raves About Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Sense of Humor: ‘They’re Really, Really Funny’

Ice Spice gave fans a peek behind the curtain of her relationship with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, calling the superstar couple some of the funniest people she knows.

The Bronx rapper caught up with Entertainment Tonight on the orange carpet for the 2025 Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (June 21), where she gushed about T-Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s sense of humor.

“They’re, really, really funny,” Ice Spice said. “They’re probably some of my funniest friends. They’re funny, you guys, that’s the scoop. They’re like us.”

Trending on Billboard

Ice and Swift originally connected when the pop superstar’s camp reached out to Ice to see if she would be interested in collaborating, and of course, the two ended up joining forces for the remix of Midnights‘ “Karma” in May 2023. The track reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“When I was in the studio with Taylor, like, I’ll never forget that,” Ice told Billboard in 2024. “She told me, ‘No matter what, just keep making music and everything’s going to be fine.’”

Ice Spice has previously called Swift her “closest celebrity friend,” and they’ve spent plenty of time hanging out outside of music. The duo has essentially made it a tradition to sit together and cheer on Kelce at the Super Bowl, as they’ve done the last two years.

“Seeing Ice lean into the strategic, financial and business aspects of her career is really exciting for me,” Swift raved to Rolling Stone last July. “The more artists learn about the inner workings of the music industry, the more power they can have in their creative world. I knew based on the questions she asked and the observations she made that she didn’t just want to be a passenger in her own career. She wanted to be the driver of it.”

As for everything else going on in the Ice Spice orbit, the “Bikini Bottom” rhymer is slated to star in the upcoming The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants film. She also teased new music on the way and said this era will be full of “peace, love and cutesy.”

Watch the full interview with ET below. Talk about Travis and Taylor starts around 1:45.
