Nas King’s Disease II reveals match ups with Eminem, EPMD and more.
Rap legend Nas is still building his legacy as the GRAMMY Award-winning emcee is set to drop his King’s Disease II album this Friday, and now we know what he’s adding to the catalog.
Yesterday, the “One Mic” rapper went to Twitter to share a picture of the tracklist with the caption “8/6,” which is the release date.
Hit-Boy will serve as the executive producer of King’s Disease II, and the album list 15 tracks. And while the project isn’t feature heavy, Nas has some interesting guest on it. The Queensbridge native joins forces with Eminem, Lauryn Hill, EPMD, Blxst, Charlie Wilson, Hit-Boy, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and YG.
While Nas and Lauryn Hill have previously teamed up for their classic hit “If I Ruled The World,” this album will be the first time Nas links with fellow rap legend Eminem.
Hit-Boy commented on his Instagram post excited about this collaboration. He said, “Wow Eminem and NAS first time rapping on a song together!” He notes, “Lauryn hill!! Death Row East!”
Let it be known that his enthusiasm for the anticipated Nas sequel mirrors our own. We look forward to hearing King’s Disease II in full when it drops this coming Friday, August 6th.
Do you think King’s Disease II will be another classic award worthy release from Nas?
