Atlanta rapper Killer Mike is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated solo album, Michael, which will be his first in 11 years. The album features a star-studded lineup of guest appearances and producers, including André 3000, Future, Eryn Allen Kane, CeeLo Green, Young Thug, Ty Dolla $ign, Curren$y, 2 Chainz, El-P, No I.D., James Blake, and more.

One of the standout tracks from the album is “Scientists & Engineers“, which showcases the talents of four Atlanta natives: Killer Mike, André 3000, Future, and Eryn Allen Kane. The song is a masterful blend of different styles and sounds, from Future’s melodic hooks and Kane’s soulful vocals to André 3000’s lyrical wizardry and Killer Mike’s hard-hitting bars. The track also features a smooth production by André 3000 and J.Dot, who mix hypnotic synths, funky guitars, and crisp drums.

“Scientists & Engineers” is a testament to the diversity and creativity of Atlanta’s music scene, as well as the chemistry and respect between the artists involved. Killer Mike and André 3000 have been friends and collaborators for years, dating back to their days in Outkast and Dungeon Family. Future and Eryn Allen Kane are both rising stars in their respective genres, bringing fresh energy and innovation to the table.

The song is one of the many highlights from Michael, which is set to drop on June 16 via Loma Vista Recordings. The album is a personal and powerful project for Killer Mike, who pays tribute to his late mother, his family, his city, and his culture. The album also showcases Killer Mike’s versatility and skill as a solo artist, after spending the last decade as one half of the acclaimed duo Run the Jewels with El-P.

Killer Mike will embark on a North American tour in support of Michael this summer, starting on July 10 in Birmingham, Alabama, and ending on August 5 in New Orleans. Fans can expect to hear songs from Michael as well as classics from Killer Mike’s previous albums and Run the Jewels’ catalog.
