Wiz Khalifa Reveals ‘Multiverse’ Album Release Date & Cover Art

Wiz Khalifa is getting ready to drop some new music.

The Taylor Gang head has already gifted fans with a good amount of music this year, including a joint project with Juicy J titled Stoner’s Night and another joint project with Girl Talk, Smoke DZA and Big K.R.I.T. titled Full Court Press. He also re-released his cult classic mixtape Taylor Allderdice to DSP’s on April 20, which arrived after the project celebrated its 10th anniversary on March 13.

Regardless, the weed-friendly rapper announced on Instagram on Tuesday (July 12) that his new solo album Multiverse will drop July 29.

Hitmaka confirmed his involvement in the project on IG as well, saying he’s got five new tracks lined up with Wiz.

“New @wizkhalifa Album July 29,” he wrote. “Got a 5 piece on here. Always fun making music wit ya brothers!!”

The new album comes after the Pittsburgh rhymer dropped off his Wiz Got Wings tape in 2021, which was entirely produced by Sledgren and featured appearances from Curren$y, Chevy Woods and Larry June among others.

The new album announcement comes as Wiz is also getting ready to kick off his Vinyl Verse Summer Tour with Logic at the end of July. The Vinyl Verse Tour will start July 27 in Irvine, California at the FivePoint Amphitheatre and will conclude on September 2 at the Hollywood Casio Amphitheatre in St. Louis, Missouri.

Logic will also be bringing along 24kGoldn, DJ Drama, Fedd The God and C Dot Castro for the trek. Berner and Rubi Rose are scheduled to perform as special guests on select dates.
