Fivio Foreign‘s girlfriend is speaking out following his arrest for domestic violence.

The “Big Drop” artist remains behind bars after his arrest on Saturday (October 10) on a single assault charge of knowingly causing body injury during an alleged incident with his girlfriend Jasmine, who is currently expecting their second child and says Fivio is not guilty of the things he’s being accused of.

“Thank you all so much for your kind words but I would like to clarify a few things,” Jasmine wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday (October 13). “I did not call the police on Fivio, I did not press charges and I do not want the father of my children in jail. A situation happened in our home and they nosy neighbor called the police. The police are who press charges and in time Fivio will be relieved of all charges. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time.”

A judge has ordered him to remain behind bars until his next court date, despite New Jersey’s new bail reform law.

The New Jersey Criminal Justice Reform Act went into effect in 2017 and eliminated its cash-based bail system in favor of a risk-based one. However, people can be held if they’re an “unacceptable flight risk or poses a danger to their community.”
