Kid Cudi returns to the charts with Man on the Moon III: The Chosen.
The third installment in his Man on the Moon series lands at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 144,000 equivalent album units, of which 15,000 are comprised of album sales. This marks the Cleveland rapper’s fifth top 10 effort. His 2009 debut Man on the Moon: The End of Day opened at No. 4 with 104,000 copies, while 2010’s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager debuted at No. 3 with first-week sales of 169,000 copies.
Taking to Twitter, Cudi thanked his fans while teasing his next project. “Love to all the people in the industry that supported me w this album!!” he wrote. “I see who does and who don’t and I don’t forget sh*t.”

Jack Harlow makes his top 10 arrival with Thats What They All Say. The Louisville rapper’s debut album, featuring the hit “WHATS POPPIN,” opens at No. 5 with 51,000 equivalent album units.
Elsewhere, Pop Smoke’s Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon drops 6-7 (46,000), Nat King Cole’s The Christmas Song falls 7-8 (45,000), Bad Bunny’s El Ultimo Tour del Mundo slides 2-9 (44,000), and Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas holds at No. 10 (44,000).
