Don Toliver presents Life of a Don.
After much anticipation, the Houston singer-rapper returns with his highly-anticipated sophomore album. In addition to “Drugs N Hella Melodies” featuring his girlfriend Kali Uchis, the 16-track set includes the single “What You Need,” plus appearances from Baby Keem, SoFaygo, HVN, and Travis Scott, who guests on “You.”
Don—who grew up listening to everything from N.E.R.D. to TLC—rented out a house in Miami’s Venetian Islands and flew out some of his favorite producers to work on the album with him.

“I’ve had some crazy records, stuff in the chamber, a lot of good music I’d been holding on to that will be on this album,” he told W magazine. “Life of a Don gives you insight into what I have going on right now. And that sound is really just how I feel. It’s the soundtrack of my life, and it’s coming from a new feeling.”
Life of a Don follows his 2020 debut Heaven or Hell, which opened at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and featured appearances from Travis, Quavo, Offset, and Sheck Wes.
You can catch Don on his “Life of a Don Tour,” which wraps at the end of October. He will also perform at festivals including Travis Scott’s Astroworld, Day N Vegas, and Rolling Loud.
