Megan Thee Stallion Launches Pete and Thomas Foundation in Support of Women, Children, Seniors, and Underserved Communities

Megan Thee Stallion has launched the Pete and Thomas Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to elevating and aiding women, children, senior citizens, and underserved areas in Houston, Texas, and around the world.

The foundation is dedicated to assisting mission-driven non-profits, raising awareness for important campaigns, and leading programmatic initiatives. It will be primarily focused on education, housing, and health + wellness as its three fundamental pillars.

The foundation will provide scholarships, school supplies, and resources to support students in high-need communities. In addition, the foundation will aim to address housing issues for senior citizens, single mothers, and families impacted by financial emergencies and natural disasters. The foundation will also support the areas of cancer care, mental health, and food insecurity.

Megan named the Pete and Thomas Foundation in honor of her parents, Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete Jr., and to recognize the humanitarian principles instilled in her by them. On her 27th birthday, she paid tribute to her parents by formally announcing the foundation and surprising a senior citizen, a student, and a cancer survivor with financial help.

“Launching the Pete and Thomas Foundation is easily one of the most significant endeavors that I’ll ever be part of in my career,” Megan said. “My family raised me to help others and give back, so I’m incredibly proud to be in a position to accomplish that goal. I have a responsibility to use my platform to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who may not have access to resources and support services.”

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee presented the three-time Grammy winner with the 18th Congressional District Hero Award in December 2021 in recognition of her humanitarian work in the greater Houston area.
