Up-and-coming artist G-Gurk Savage On Alert (SOA) and Jet Life recordings artist, Fendi P just caused a stir in the media with the latest release of their new music video Focused On Me, which was directed and filmed by Hollywood Pompeii Studio’s own celebrity videographer, Hollywood Pompeii.
The collaboration of the two New Orleans artists is a representation of the city in a major way. G-Gurk Savage On Alert (SOA) has worked with artists such as 3D Nazi and is known for the essence of truth in his music. He has implemented many humane aspects into songs such as Bidness Man, B4 Painful Blues, Find A Way, Die With Me, PTSD, and most recently focused on Me. Since joining Jet Life Recordings, Fendi P has emerged as one of Curren$y’s most notable musicians, known for his diverse catalogue of projects like The Art of Finessin’, Late Nights Early Mornings, and Carrera Red.
G-Gurk Savage On Alert (SOA) is from downtown New Orleans, the St. Bernard Project located in the 7th ward and Fendi P of the New Orleans East has brought an interesting dynamic to the sound of New Orleans music.
Jet Life Custom Cars in New Orleans East, Sol’s Jewelry in Chalmette, Louisiana, and Hollywood Pompeii Studios in Kenner, Louisiana, served as the locations for the Focused on Me set. The song conveys the notion that one should only be concerned with one’s own self-image, financial security, and building a solid foundation of motivation. With lyrics like “just keeping it G, I’ve been focused on me. Been chasin’ that bag, bag, bag. Ain’t chasin’ no freak.” The two artists, G-Gurk Savage On Alert (SOA) and Fendi P, talk from a hustler’s attitude and are unapologetically focused on achieving their objectives and maturing as individuals. In the video, the two can be seen near vintage automobiles of Jet Life Custom Cars, a snowball stand and the warehouse area of Hollywood Pompeii Studios.
The two artists got in touch with Hollywood Pompeii, a well-known director and celebrity videographer, and Hollywood Jamie James, who operates as the facility’s director at Hollywood Pompeii Studios. Lil’ Boosie, Lil’ Baby, Kyyngg, Fred The Godson, Casanova 2x, Rob49, Fatboy SSE, Fetty Wap, Kevin Gates, and G9godson are just a few of the artists that Pompeii has been known to collaborate with. Hollywood Pompeii is noted for his clean and captivating collection of visual arts. Pompeii is generally recognized as “the plug” when it comes to videos, marketing, and breaking into the industry.
The production showcases Fendi P in front of cars being customized and even captures moments of G-Gurk Savage On Alert (SOA) indulging in food from the stand. Hollywood Jamie James worked as a set assistant on the Focused on Me set and featured as the “mystery woman with blue hair” who is shown in the video clip next to G-Gurk Savage On Alert SOA) in Hollywood Pompeii Studios, giving more of a trap lifestyle aesthetic to the visuals. The artists will continue to do well, and in late February they released the new project Focused on Me, which is now available on YouTube.
