Lil Keed fans have something to look forward to this month as the late rapper’s first posthumous album, Keed Talk to ‘Em 2, is set to be released on March 17th. According to Lil Keed’s mother, the rapper had been working on the project before his untimely death. The album will be released under the labels Young Stoner Life Records and 300 Entertainment.

The upcoming album serves as a sequel to Lil Keed’s 2018 mixtape, Keed Talk to ‘Em, and follows the last full-length album he released before his passing, Trapped on Cleveland 3, which came out in 2020. The posthumous LP will feature guest appearances from some notable artists, including Young Thug, Nav, Big Sean, Cordae, and Lil Keed’s brother, Lil Gotit.

Lil Keed, whose real name was Raqhid Render, died in May 2022 at the age of 24. He passed away due to eosinophilia, a condition that occurs when the body produces an abnormally high number of eosinophils, a type of white blood cell. Despite his untimely passing, Lil Keed’s team has worked hard to ensure his fans can still enjoy his music through the release of his posthumous album.

In February, Lil Keed’s mother and team shared the album’s first single, “Long Way to Go,” which was well-received by fans. And just recently, on March 8, they released another single, “Self Employed,” accompanied by a music video showing the rapper holding his son while performing.

The new single, “Self Employed,” features Lil Keed’s signature trap sound with catchy lyrics that showcase his ability to create infectious hooks. The music video is a heartwarming tribute to the late rapper’s life, as he’s seen performing while holding his son, emphasizing the love and bond between father and child.

Keed Talk to ‘Em 2 promises to be a must-listen for Lil Keed’s fans, and it’s a testament to the late rapper’s talent and the impact he had on the hip-hop industry during his short career. Lil Keed’s team has done an excellent job in ensuring that his legacy lives on through his music, and the upcoming album is a fitting tribute to the late rapper’s artistry.
