2 Men Found Guilty Of Jam Master Jay’s Murder

21 and a half years after it occurred, two men have been found guilty for the murder of Jam Master Jay.

Karl Jordan Jr. and Ronald Washington are facing at least twenty years behind bars, if not life. They were indicted for the rapper’s murder in 2020.

It is alleged that after Run-DMC’s popularity dwindled slightly in the 1990s, Jam Master Jay acquired 22lbs of cocaine which Jordan Jr. and Washington were going to distribute, amongst others. Supposedly, when the rapper informed the latter of the men that he wouldn’t be involved, Washington plotted his murder, eventually killing him in cold blood in a recording studio.

This verdict brings some closure and justice to one of the biggest unsolved cases in Hip-Hop.
