A new docuseries called HOW MUSIC GOT FREE will be released on June 11th.

HOW MUSIC GOT FREE details the fascinating story of the technology-driven disruption that changed music during the late-90s and early-2000s. File sharing technology, combined with the unprecedented demand for new music, created both the means and the motive for millions of young people to participate in outright theft on the internet.

The series is executive produced by Eminem and LeBron James along with Maverick Carter, Paul Rosenberg and Steve Stoute, and is based on the popular book of the same name by author Stephen Witt. It is produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television/Telepictures in association with SpringHill, Interscope Films and Shady Films.

Narrated by Method Man, the series features interviews with Eminem, 50 Cent, Timbaland, Jimmy Iovine, Rocsi Diaz, Rhymefest, Steve Stoute and more.

Dell Glover from Shelby, NC became the main leaker of music in the wild wild mp3 days who used to work a job at the Universal Music CD pressing plant. The series throws light on his story and how his actions changed the music industry forever.
