Canadian Politician Jagmeet Singh Apologises To Drake For Attending Kendrick Concert

Drake is going viral yet again for another controversy. For the uninitiated, Drake is now beefing with a former Canadian leader of the New Democratic Party, Jagmeet Singh, who recently attended the Kendrick Lamar concert in Toronto.

Drake had taken to his IG after clips of Jagmeet Singh enjoying the concert surfaced, where he posted a screenshot of his chat history with Jagmeet.

In it, one can see how Jagmeet consistently posted stories of Drake and even thanked him for a “follow back” on Instagram in 2019. This relationship changed after the concert, when Drake called him a “goof” in the DMs.

As the Internet debated on whether or not this Drake move was corny, Jagmeet Singh chose to take over the narrative and clarify a few things. In a story he posted, Singh apologised for having attended the concert — a concert he claimed he attended to watch SZA.

Singh also reiterated his love for Drake’s music, calling the rapper his favourite. The question still remains though — was this sort of a reaction warranted?
