Eminem References Kanye’s Relations With His Cousin On New JID Collaboration ‘Animals (Pt.1)’: Watch

Eminem is not a rapper that holds out on the most outlandish of references. Last time, it was “like a shepherd having s*x with his sheep, f*****g absurd,” and now, he’s back with more. On the recently released GDLU: The Preluxe mixtape by JID, fans were elated to spot an Eminem feature. Wondering what wordplays and references they’d hear this time round from Em, fans tuned in to find Eminem namedropping Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) with a shocking reference on ‘Animals (Pt. 1).’

In the song, Eminem has a bar that goes “With these magazines, I act out like Ye and his cousin,” referring to Kanye’s rant from earlier this year on X where he spoke of having sexual relations with his cousins. In the post, Ye spoke about how his cousin once killed a pregnant woman after Ye refused to partake in inappropriate consumption of explicit magazines any longer. According to him, it happened due to curiosity generated by homoerotic magazines him and and his cousin suddenly had access to.

More specifically, this is how the tweet read: “This song is called ‘COUSINS’ about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t ‘look at dirty magazines together’ anymore,” Ye tweeted. “Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.” The last bit of this certainly caught Slim Shady’s attention, resulting in an unfortunate (and for many, seriously questionable) bar about sexual trauma.
