Rakim Explains His New AI & Crypto Powered Company ‘NOTES’ In Now Deleted IG Post

The one and only God Rakim, considered by many as the most influential lyrical rapper to pick a pen, has his eyes set on another revolution. His first one involved syllable stacking in an unconventional sense, but with NOTES, he’s taking the direction of a business tycoon.

Taking to Instagram in a letter addressed to his audience, Rakim expressed his motivations behind founding NOTES — an AI powered, cryptocurrency dependent system that would supposedly allow artists to stay independent and make money. As he puts it, “it’s a movement built to put money, knowledge and power back in the hands of those who make culture what it is.”

From raising capital via lenders and creditors to resources for understanding the music business ecosystem, NOTES claims to provide urban artists with resources that are otherwise inaccessible. “We do this for the culture, by the culture, so the next generation doesn’t have to sacrifice ownership to survive,” Rakim mentioned in his letter. For some reason, the post seems to have been taken off IG, but below is a screenshot of the letter.

Currently, NOTES is offering sign ups to join the waitlist for early access on notestechnology.com.
