Aaliyah’s 2001 self-titled album is now available for streaming.
The release comes from Blackground Records 2.0 and brings “We Need A Resolution,” “Rock The Boat,” “More Than A Woman,” “I Care 4U” and more to streaming for the first time.
Blackground Records 2.0 is partnering with Empire for the pop-up event “More Than A Woman – The Aaliyah Experience” to honor the late music icon and her legacy.

The influence of Aaliyah has crossed generations and is found in mood boards, fashion collabs, and more. The experience is produced by Six Degrees and will have sponsorship from Pandora. Aaliyah’s career and life will be brought to fans in an immersive New York City multi-set.
The experience will be on Sept. 10 from 11 am to 6 pm. Tickets will be available on Tuesday, 9/7 starting at 9 AM ET on http://morethanawoman.splashthat.com/.
