In a formal statement, the festival team noted that they arrived at this difficult choice after consulting with weather experts, representatives from Forest Hills Stadium, and local authorities. The primary motivation for the cancellation is the safety of the performing artists, the local production crews, and the fans planning to attend. Attendees who purchased tickets using a credit card will receive an automatic refund.
