Snoop Dogg is in more hot water.
After his controversial comments about Gayle King, the hip-hop icon is under fire for comments he made to Ari Lennox. The Dreamville songstress was seen trying on a wig during a recent Instagram Live. After seeing the video reposted by The Shade Room, Snoop decided to weigh in.
“Grow your own hair what happened to those days,” he wrote alongside the shrugging emoji.
He received backlash on social media from fans who called his comments inappropriate and even misogynistic. “He CHOSE to call her out SPECIFICALLY! How many friends does he have that wear wigs?” asked one Twitter user, while another added, “Lmaooooooo that red table talk didn’t mean shit.” Others pointed out that Lennox rarely wears wigs and noted that Snoop’s wife and daughter have worn wigs themselves.
The fact that she's always wearing her natural hair but god forbid she puts on a wig once.

Why doesn’t he ask his (very gorgeous) daughter why she doesn’t “grow her own hair”? He wrong for this. Knowing damn well his wife and daughter be rocking braids and wigs. pic.twitter.com/2eAwviO9iC

This how you know Snoop don’t even KNOW who Ari Lennox is, cuz Ari has a WHOLE AFRO of natural hair. She’s prolly worn wigs 3x TOPS. Defending a man who wouldn’t even keep scrolling for you. https://t.co/cW2crAJpg0

But Lennox delivered the ultimate clapback, posting a photo of Snoop wearing a blond wig. “Uncle I just…I just thought we had an understanding…” she captioned it.
The “BMO” singer previously spoke up in Snoop’s defense after he slammed Gayle King and Oprah Winfrey following King’s interview about Kobe Bryant. “F**k Gayle and f**k Oprah. Y’all are some self-hating pieces of sh*t f**k asses,” said Lennox.
However, she later apologized for the comments. “I am sorry. I was acting like an ass. Im sorry for being insensitive,” she said. “I impulsively spiraled cause I was sick of seeing the distasteful shade especially at such a terrible and sad time towards someone I know is good person. With that said I wasn’t trying to discredit other people and their truths and opinions.”
