Bomba Estéreo and Rawayana Announce Debut Astropical Album, Share New Songs: Listen

After launching last month, with “Me Pasa (Piscis),” the Bomba Estéreo and Rawayana supergroup Astropical have announced their debut album. The self-titled LP arrives March 7, and you can hear a couple more songs from it below, namely “Una Noche en Caracas (Tauro)” and “Corazón Adentro (Escorpio).” Find the tracklist and album art further down-page.

Rawayana’s Alberto “Beto” Montenegro said in a press release, “For me, ‘Corazón Adentro’ is a cry from the heart for life. A display of love from the inside, for what really matters.”

Bomba Estéreo’s Liliana “Li” Saumet added that “Una Noche en Caracas” was inspired by a night in Caracas, Rawayana’s hometown. “It was a beautiful, powerful, and unforgettable night at a concert. What happened there, the people who came, the unity, and the intensity of what was felt were truly strong. Sometimes, from the stage, you can sense the power of what people are feeling, and that night it was palpable. For this song, we created a new story inspired by the night—about two people who meet, share a moment, make a connection, and experience something magical, just like that night in Caracas.”

The outfit will make its live debut next month at the Vive Latino festival in Mexico City, followed by a show at Estéreo Picnic in Bogota and more dates to come.
