Brooklyn Nightclub Paragon Broadway to Close in the Spring

Paragon Broadway, the Brooklyn nightclub that opened in 2022, is closing. “It is with deep sadness that today we must deliver the message of Paragon’s conclusion,” the venue’s team wrote on Instagram. “After almost 3 years of running a venue with some of the world’s best people we simply cannot afford the financial reality of this industry in 2025 and will be closing our doors this April.”

“We want to thank all of our supporters for the memories and the friendships. We want to thank all of the artists that graced us with their magic,” the Paragon Broadway team continued. “Most of all we want to thank our coworkers who often went far beyond their job descriptions to make dreams come true.”

Paragon Broadway, formerly known as Venus in Furs, is located at 990 Broadway. It’s owned by Bossa Nova Civic Club’s John Barclay, who told Resident Advisor, in 2022, “We’re making an effort to kind of change things up a little bit. Not unlike what was happening in Paladium, Studio 54, Paradise Garage, where there’s a person connecting with the actual crowd throughout the night. It’s a more classic take on dance music.”

Before its closure, Paragon Broadway will host events featuring Uniiqu3, DJ Sliink, MJ Nebreda, DJ Lag, and more. Click below to see photos from Pitchfork’s recent event at the venue.
