ChuckXL has released his highly anticipated debut EP “Nights Like This.” Now available on all streaming platforms, the project showcases ChuckXL’s versatility on a beat.

Nights Like This is a 7-track sonic depiction of how ChuckXL became who he is today. He rolled out the EP with the lead single “LA Times,” a vibey single, which he wrote before ever touching ground in the City of Angels he described as “a depiction of my sensualization of Los Angeles.” With the official video directed by Marcel Lamar, ChuckXL shows he’s here to make his mark in the hip hop game.

The project as a whole travels back to a time where young ChuckXL was feeling the pressures of the real world, overwhelming emotions while trying to reach for the stars. Being from a small city Passaic, NJ ChuckXL expresses, “with stories of success far and few, it felt like there was an immense amount of pressure & responsibility. After some years of reflection I was finally able to put those feelings into my art.”

Over the years, young ChuckXL had numerous attempts of trying to capture his vision properly but one aspect remained constant.. The project’s name: Nights Like This.

On the new album, ChuckXL explains:

“The title “Nights Like This” is a concept that I’ve sat with for a few years. It encapsulates the feeling that this current moment is always fleeting and rather than letting the outside noise creep in and steal your joy, you should enjoy this moment for what it is. That’s a message I definitely wish I could’ve told my younger self. I hope this project inspires the next generation of inner city kids to create their art, really execute, and share that energy with the world!”
