Desiigner posted a $1,500 bond and was released on Tuesday (March 24). The 28-year-old faces one third-degree charge of domestic violence. Additional court information was not available on the Horry County Sheriff’s Office database.

A mugshot of the Brooklyn native sporting an orange jumpsuit has been making the rounds on social media on Wednesday (March 25).

Desiigner has faced legal trouble in the past, when he was arrested on indecent exposure charges while on a plane in April 2023. Authorities alleged that the rapper masturbated on a Delta flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis.

The criminal complaint alleged that Desiigner exposed himself about 60 to 90 minutes into the flight when a flight attendant noticed him masturbating. After five minutes, another two flight attendants noticed him exposing himself once again, and he was told to stop.

“Mental health is real guys,” he wrote to X regarding the incident.

Desiigner’s breakout smash “Panda” spent two weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 in 2016. He’s since scored a pair of top 40 Hot 100 hits with “Timmy Turner” (No. 34 peak) and as a guest on BTS’ “Mic Drop” (No. 28).

He’s been busy in the studio to kick off 2026, which saw Desiigner release his “Feel Me Dawg” single on March 20 via LOD Entertainment.

Billboard has reached out to Desiigner’s reps for comment.
