Drake has turned the Billboard Hot 100 into the Certified Lover Chart. The 6ix God has made history by debuting nine songs in the top 10 of the Hot 100 chart, becoming the first artist to do so in history.
The nine singles push Certified Lover Boy past Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814, and Drake‘s own Scorpion, who each placed in seven singles.
The Top 10 takeover includes another No. 1 single for The Boy. His “Way 2 Sexy” single hits No. 1 as Drake also became the first artist to simultaneously debut in the chart’s top five. The single tallied 67.3 million streams, 7.7 million in airplay audience, 7,000 sold. “Way 2 Sexy” is Drake’s ninth No. 1 single, the third for Young Thug, and is the first for Future.

Rounding out the top five is “Girls Want Girls” featuring Lil Baby, Fair Trade featuring Travis Scott, the album-opening “Champagne Poetry,” and the 21 Savage and Project Pat-assisted “Knife Talk.”
Elsewhere in the top 10 is “In the Bible” featuring Lil Durk and Giveon, “Papi’s Home,” “TSU” and “Love All” featuring JAY-Z.
The Certified Lover Boy first week numbers are in and Drake will debut with the biggest opening for an album this year. CLB will move 604,000 equivalent album units in its first seven days.
Hits Daily Double‘s projections will slot Drake at the top of next week’s Billboard 200 chart and drop Kanye West to the No. 2 slot. In his first week, Kanye sold 309,000 units.
The latest album from The Boy has surpassed Yeezy’s latest offering in streams in just three days. Rolling Stone notes the numbers that DONDA put up in a full week in America were lapped by CLB in just three days, according to Alpha Data. At that moment, CLB was sitting at 430 million streams, while DONDA was approaching 423 million.
