Drake Says Justin Bieber Didn’t Respond to His Message Regarding a Potential Collaboration

Drake made Justin Bieber’s hotline bling, but there was no reply. The 6 God is claiming that Biebs didn’t respond to his message regarding a potential collaboration on Instagram over the weekend.

Drizzy dropped a comment in Bieber’s Instagram post on Sunday (April 6), which saw the “Baby” singer asking his peers to shoot him a message if they were looking to work together. “Dm me if u wanna make music together,” the pop star wrote.

“I DM’d but no reply,” Drake commented.

Trending on Billboard

Billboard has reached out to Bieber’s rep for comment.

Along with Drake and thousands of others, many artists flooded the “Sorry” singer’s comments section, including Big Sean, Kehlani, Bailey Zimmerman and Jaden Smith.

The exchange quickly went viral on social media, and fans are hoping the Canadian superstars can get on the same page and link up for another collaboration. “Oh we boutta get a summer hit,” one person wrote to X.

Another added: “Him and Drake on a song goes triple platinum btw.”

Others thought Drake was being sarcastic after JB allegedly unfollowed Drizzy on Instagram earlier this week. As of press time, Bieber doesn’t follow Drake on Instagram, while the OVO rapper follows JB and his wife, Hailey Bieber.

Drake and Bieber joined forces for “Right Here,” which landed on Bieber’s third studio album Believe in June 2012.

The 6 God is said to have his sights set on his next solo album on the heels of delivering $ome $exy $ongs 4 U with PartyNextDoor in February. Drake’s back in the top five after his “Nokia” hit reached a new peak of No. 3 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.
