Eminem, an undisputed legend within the culture, is now officially a grandfather. The rapper, who was in the news just last year (seen thoroughly involved in his daughter’s wedding) is now the grandpa to Elliot Marshall Mcclintock.
Isn’t that just adorable? The baby’s middle name is actually an ode to Eminem himself, who was born Marshall Mathers III. The news of a grandchild comes expectedly, after Eminem was surprised last year by daughter Hailie, who gifted him a jersey that read ‘Grandpa’ followed by a photograph of her ultrasound.
The footage also made its way into Eminem’s song, ‘Temporary,’ alongside a bunch of footage from Hailie’s formative years growing up.

Fans are hit by nostalgia as many are still processing how long Eminem has really been around. Knowing his journey with family and relationships, it also feels like a full circle moment for a young Eminem, who found himself eventually committing to sobriety for the sake of his children, Hailie, Alaina and Stevie.
Always fiercely protective of his offspring, the rapper has been quick to dive headfirst into vicious rap battles that added to Eminem’s invincible rap persona. Now, you can only imagine how protective he must be of his grandson. We, for one, cannot wait to see him grow up!
