What first got you into music?

I first got into music when I was around 4 or 5 years old. My older brother used to put a dog chain around my kneck and I would Rap the Wild Wild West (Kool Moe Dee) to my family at family gatherings (CaddyMack Moses)

Who inspired you to make music?

I first was inspired by Michael Jackson. Watching him make music as a kid really gave me the inspiration to want to try it as well. Turbo (Boogaloo Shrimp) from the movie Breaking was a big inspiration for me as well. I actually was a Break-Dancer before I started recording records.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

The music that I create is raw and from the heart. I like to make music that reflects what I am feeling in that particular moment, and also music that reflects what is going on around me. My style is not perfectly put together… It’s raw feeling captured on wax.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

A collaboration with Thundercat, Lenny Kravitz, or D’Angelo would be dope.

If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?

I would open up for Bruno Mars or Anderson Paak.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

I would tell my fans thank you for always believing in me. Even when my own family and loved ones could care less, they held me down

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

I feel the Internet has had a major impact on the music business. It has changed the way that people discover and consume music. It has made they relationship between fans and artists a lot less hands on, and more digital.

Which famous musicians do you admire?

I really admire Michael Jackson, Prince, Curtis Mayfield, George Clinton, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, & Willie Hutch

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Best Advice was to stay humble and always keep The Most High first

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

The music industry is and will always be the music industry. You can’t change it. You can only focus on being the best version of you

What’s next for you?

Next steps for me are to put a couple more projects out and to focus on taking care of my family, and giving back to my kids and my community.
