What is your name and where are you from?

My name is Terrell Fure’. I rep Strong Island, Brooklyn, and Queens NY

What first got you into music?

I would say Hip Hop is what initially got me into music. When I was a kid I would sit in the living room in front of the tv and watch hip Hop videos all day long lol… If you notice some of my music you’ll hear me rapping a little. I also watched Apollo, Soul Train, and Video Music Box religiously! Lol

Who inspired you to make music?

In Hip hop and in reggae I would say it started from my parents generation. In hip Hop it would be Run-DMC, Biz Marie, EPMD, LL Cool J, De La Soul  , Brand Nubian, The Pharcyde , Nas, Rakim, Kool G Rap, Master Ace, Wu Tang Clan, Jadakiss, D-Block, Diddy, Bad Boy, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Death Row, Jay-Z, Souls of Mischief, OutKast, Goodie Mob, Ghetto Boyz, Scarface, Dip Set, Cash Monkey, the females was spittin too like Roxanne Shante, Ms Melodie, Queen Latifah, Boss, Da Brat,  Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Lauren Hill, Bahamadia, Trina, Eve, I’m leaving out a lot. Lol…Now to the reggae artist it would be Super Cat, Shabba Ranks, Cutty Ranks, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Vybz Kartel, Spragga Benz, Elephant Man, Merciless, Shaggy, Sean Paul, I Wayne, Capelton, Maxi Priest, Garnet Silk, Beres Hammond, Cocoa Tea, Sanchez, Ghost, Round Head, Red Rat, General Degree, General B, Tiger, Zebra, Louie Culture, Ninja Man, Mad Cobra, Baby Cham, Agent Sasco, Frisco Kid, Mr Vegas, Terror Fabulous, Daddy Screw, Terry Ganzie, Bush Man, Silver Cat, TOK, Nitty Kuchie, Busy Signal, Looga Man, Bling Dawg, Chaka Demus and Pliers, Nardo Ranks, Louie Rankin, Joseph Stepper, Reggie Stepper, Nicodemus, Jr Demus, the females were crazy too like Sister Nancy,  Patra, Lady G, Lady Saw, Tanya Stephens, CeCile, and again I’m leaving a lot of others out lol…lol

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Typically I create Dancehall reggae music but I like to switch it up sometimes. I might rap or sometimes I might sound like I’m holding a note or two lol… It all depends on the vibe I get from the track. I like trying new things when it comes to creating music. I think it’s part of growing musically and it helps to widen your range.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

Great question! Lol…Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Vybz Kartel, Movado, Busy Signal, Agent Sasco, Cham, Spice, Lady Saw, Elephant Man, Nitty Kuchie, Beres Hammond, Cicel, Tanya, Bing Dawg, Stephens, Stefflon Don, Shenseea, Christopher Martin, Dexta Daps, Trina, Jadakiss, Drake, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Kanye, Lil Wayne, Nas, Black Thought, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common, Lauren Hill, Erykah Badu, Nicki Minaj, mann this would be another long list..lol

If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?

Jay-Z

What is one message you would give to your fans?

I love y’all and thank you for your support!

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

The internet has greatly impacted the music business because now it has become the music business. You no longer need a major record label, now the major record labels need you. All because of the internet and social media.

Which famous musicians do you admire?

Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Nas, Jay-Z, Jadakiss, 50 Cent, KRS-One, and Rakim just to name a few cause this will be another long list lol

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Take things for what they are and not for what you want them to be.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

I’d change it to where there would be more good people with good intentions, who do good business and make talent the icing on the cake. It’s too many shady, fake people looking for realness, goodness, and honesty but that’s not how the universe works.

What’s next for you?

More hit songs, features with big name artists, performances, and more money! lol!!!
