According to a report from TMZ, Public Enemy hype man Flavor Flav was arrested and charged with domestic battery in Las Vegas on October 5.
TMZ says that Henderson County Police was called to a domestic disturbance. Police were told that Flav, whose real name is William Drayton, poked his finger on the victim’s nose, threw her down, and grabbed a phone out of her hand,
Police arrested Drayton on charges of misdemeanor battery constituting domestic violence.

Flav’s lawyer David Chesnoff told TMZ, “in alleged domestic violence cases, there are often 2 sides to the story and we will explain our side in the courtroom and not in the media.”
