Williams Jr. and his eight accomplices, some of whom came from Memphis, “executed an armed takeover.” While the three men were in the music studio, Williams Jr., according to the DOJ, “forced one of the victims to sign a release from the recording contract at gunpoint” after drawing an AK-style handgun. The remaining co-conspirators also pulled out guns and robbed the other victims of items such as Rolex watches, jewelry and cash.
Williams Jr. entered a guilty plea to conspiring to possess firearms in furtherance of violent crimes and drug trafficking, and he was released from prison in October 2025 after spending three years for a gun charge in Miami, Florida.
