Jacob Elordi stars as Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola‘s latest film Priscilla, which focuses on the late rockstar’s wife.

The movie tackles a portion of Presley’s life when he had become bigger in size, but Elordi wasn’t able to put on enough weight to portray him accurately.

In an interview with GQ, Elordi says it wasn’t for a lack of trying. The interviewer then asked him what his diet consisted of.

“Bacon,” Elordi said. “It was about a pound of bacon every day. And then when I’d go to Canada [to film Priscilla], it was poutine and hamburgers […] It’s really my pleasure. I could order Uber Eats and be like, ‘Should I get that burger after I’ve just had Italian? Yeah. Yeah, I will.”

Elordi’s relationship with Canada didn’t quite end there either.

He recently wrapped up filming a new movie from Paul Schrader titled Oh, Canada, on Long Island.

The movie is about a Canadian-American documentary filmmaker who fled the United States to go to Canada to avoid serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He will portray a younger version of Richard Gere’s character.

Priscilla is currently in theatres.

Oh, Canada does not currently have a release date.
