Jadakiss Reveals J. Cole is Releasing a Mixtape in Addition to ‘The Fall-Off’ Album

In case you’ve been living under a rock, J. Cole is putting out what he’s essentially been calling his magnum opus on February 6th. The Fall-Off has been a decade in the making and is the result of the North Carolina rapper putting his pen to the test and giving it all he’s got so that he can end his career knowing he pushed himself to the max. Check out the trailer for the album here.

It seems like the good news might not be ending there for J. Cole fans though.

On the latest episode of their podcast, Jadakiss and Fat Joe talked a bit about the drop and what they’re anticipating from the album. But when talking about it, Kiss leaked some massive news.

He revealed that as well as The Fall-Off, J. Cole has a mixtape coming where he’s rapping over other people’s beats, including The LOX’s ‘Money, Power & Respect’ and Black Rob’s ‘Can I Live’ which features The LOX too. It’s likely that Cole cleared the beats with Kiss, Sheek and Louch and Kiss wasn’t supposed to put this information out, but it looks like we have a Cole mixtape to look forward to. That could explain the multiple vinyl in the album’s packaging, or this could be It’s A Boy which was announced years ago. Perhaps we get something on Cole’s birthday on the 28th. It all remains to be seen but the excitement definitely just increased.

Check out the clip of the announcement below.
