Chilombo is coming.
Ahead of its release, Jhené Aiko is shedding light on her upcoming third album. Taking to Twitter on Monday, she revealed more details about the long-awaited project, which will consist of all freestyles.
“just typed out all the lyrics to the free flows that are #CHILOMBO 👏🏼 #phew realest shit i ever wrote….” tweeted Jhené.
She described the album as a mix of her last four projects. “if sailing soul(s), sail out, souled out and trip had a baby #CHILOMBO,” she said.

While she has yet to announce an album release date, she did previously tease a February release in the pop-up video for her single “P*$$Y Fairy (OTW).” It’s unclear if that’s still the case.
Last month, she released “P*$$Y Fairy (OTW),” which was preceded by the Big Sean-assisted “None of Your Concern” and the platinum-certified “Triggered (freestyle).”
Chilombo, which is Jhené’s last name, is the follow-up to 2017’s Trip, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. She previously said the project would “touch on many subjects and relationships… past, present and future.”
