Kanye West, Amid Return to Public Eye, Praises Hitler, Diddy, and Chris Brown in Hate-Filled X Rant

Last year, Kanye West returned to the public eye after antisemitic remarks he made in 2022 led to a brief exile and numerous professional consequences for the rapper and businessman. His return included the release of two albums—Vultures 1 and Vultures 2—and the restoration of his X account, which had been suspended due to his antisemitic posts. And, this past Sunday, West and his wife, Bianca Censori, made a headline-grabbing appearance on the red carpet at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Now, in a series of posts on X that began last night and are ongoing, West is expressing the same sort of antisemitic, racist, and hateful rhetoric that got him banned years ago. Here is one post that West made: “IM RACIST STEREO TYPES EXIST FOR A REASON AND THEY ALL BE TRUE.”

In another post, West wrote (in capital letters) that he does not “like or trust any Jewish person.” Additional posts include great praise for Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party—fascinations that West has reportedly held for years. In one instance, West plainly called himself a Nazi. He also said he would never apologize for his antisemitism. Further posts are homophobic, racist against Black people, misogynistic, and ableist.

West also used his platform to defend and praise Sean “Diddy” Combs, the disgraced rapper and mogul who remains incarcerated as he awaits federal trial on racketeering and sex trafficking charges. West claims that “they” are “trying to make an example out of” Diddy, who is also facing countless lawsuits from women and men who claim that the musician abused them. He asks, too, for one of his allies, President Donald J. Trump, to pardon Diddy, who has largely denied the allegations of wrongdoing.

Another controversial music figure West defends and praises is Chris Brown, the singer who was convicted, in 2009, of assaulting Rihanna. West says that “we all watched them try to cancel Chris Brown,” a musician who also has faced numerous lawsuits for alleged physical and sexual assaults.

In a post this morning, West essentially explained the motivation behind his posts: “Has anyone ever wanted to get it all off they chest     Everything you felt     Everything they told you not to say think or feel.”
