Karen O and Danger Mouse are reissuing their 2019 LP Lux Prima on September 20 with a pair of extra tracks. One of them, “Super Breath,” is their first new song since making the LP, and you can check it out below. The other is their 2019 cover of Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day,” originally recorded for a SiriusXMU session. Both will be included on a bonus 7″ with the reissue, which comes with a 16-page booklet drawn from the “Encounter with Lux Prima” exhibition at Los Angeles’s Marciano Arts Foundation.
Since Lux Prima, Danger Mouse has released the Cheat Codes LP with Black Thought, as well as reissuing his 2004 album with Jemini, Born Again. Karen O, meanwhile, reconvened with Yeah Yeah Yeahs for the 2022 LP Cool It Down.
