Baby fever is upon us.
After pregnancy announcements from Kelly Rowland, Cassie, and Christian Milian, Keri Hilson is the latest R&B singer to spark baby talk. The “Pretty Girl Rock” songstress took to Instagram to share two photos of herself cradling what appears to be a baby bump.
Hilson’s name began trending on Twitter as fans speculated that she was pregnant, sharing their well wishes. She also received congratulatory messages from celebrity friends including 2 Chainz, Amerie, Meagan Good, Kandi Burruss, and more.
Despite the baby chatter, it may just be a publicity stunt to promote her upcoming movie. Hilson, who appears to be standing on a film set, tagged Lifetime TV and Pastor T.D. Jakes in her photo, along with independent production company Swirl Films. Jakes previously announced a deal with Lifetime for his anthology movie series Seven Deadly Sins.
Hilson has been pursuing acting and can be seen in TV One’s upcoming movie Don’t Waste Your Pretty. She has also been working on a new album, her first in a decade.
While Miss Keri may not be expecting a baby, Cassie and Christian Milian both announced this week that they are pregnant.
