The ongoing People versus Sean Combs (P. Diddy) trial has had Hip-Hop audiences around the globe hooked to finding out the gruesome details of the Rap mogul’s behaviour. While we have largely heard testimonies from survivor Cassie Ventura and some Diddy associates, it is now Kid Cudi’s turn to speak his truth.
Cudi showed up today in court in a leather jacket and jeans, ready to give details of a troubled past encounter with Diddy. When asked about his relationship with Cassie, who previously had a relationship with Diddy, Cudi testified to Cassie being scared and in distress often. He recounted how Diddy reacted upon finding out what was going on between Cudi and Cassie, and set out to ruin Cudi’s life.
What happened next resulted in out of proportion reactions from Diddy, who broke into Cudi’s home and even locked his dog inside a washroom. But it didn’t end there. According to Cudi, Diddy also cut a hole into the roof of Cudi’s Porsche and threw a molotov cocktail inside, setting his car ablaze. Shortly after details of the incident were shared, the judge called for a break. The story is currently developing and currently being covered by the Inner City Press.
