The “Feelin’ Peachy” rapper always seems to show his big heart, despite the hothead we can see on social media. Kodak Black is donating $20K to the child of a police officer, who succumbed to the deadly COVID-19 virus.

As the pandemic reaches its second wave of cases, states like Florida and California have seen a large increase in COVID cases. The CDC recently made a report, stating that Florida alone has at least 20K COVID-19 cases. Our hearts go out to the families of those affected by COVID-19, including the family of officer Jennifer Sepot.

The For Lauderdale police officer reportedly passed away following complications with the deadly virus, Sepot would leave behind her 2-year-old daughter. Once the story reached the news, Kodak’s attorney Bradford Cohen shared with TMZ that the rapper felt the desire to step in and help.

“Make sure that kid is straight. Pay for her college fund,” Cohen stated Kodak told him. It is believed that Kodak was moved by the story of Sepot because he also contracted COVID-19 last year.

In a statement issued by the Fort Lauderdale Fraternal Order of Police, they mention that they are “grateful to everyone who has donated to the Sepot family in memory of Jennifer. Her loss has had an immeasurable and lasting impact on our officers. The generosity by supporters has offered a degree of hope during a time in which support for law enforcement feels to be a waning movement.”

Rest In Peace to officer Jennifer Sepot.
