Today, hip-hop artist Lil Poppa announced the forthcoming release of his new project, Under Investigation III, on April 27 via CMG Records/Interscope.
The new project will mark the Jacksonville native’s first project release since signing with Yo Gotti’s acclaimed CMG label, which includes the likes of Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, Mozzy, Blocboy JB, and more.
Under Investigation III will include Poppa’s newly-released single “H Spot (feat Yo Gotti)”. It will be the 22-year-old’s first project release since dropping Blessed, I Guess in 2021 including collaborations with Toosii and Seddy Hendrix.
Poppa’s signing serves as the latest example of CMG’s rapid expansion and reaffirms Gotti’s ability to identify talent from across the country. Earlier in February, the CMG mogul announced that he signed Sacramento hip-hop artist Mozzy at the CMG Press Conference in Los Angeles during Super Bowl weekend.
