| Bakersfield-based artist Lil Sosa and Los Angeles’s very own Bravo The BagChaser bring some heat to the streets just in time for this LA summer with their newest track and visual for “What You Mean”. The duo brings a nonchalant swag that is a consistent bar for bar. Bravo’s catchy hook is the perfect assist to Sosa’s slick raps. The video is visually appealing and doesn’t do too much of that flashy business some other rappers are using to try and get their views up. Bravo and Sosa understand what it means to keep it G and get their point across without doing the most or even trying. Their executions are almost flawless like a sub-zero victory. They seem like the type to live what they rap about or what they’ve been through as listeners can hear their sincerity and emotion in the rhymes. Having SB link up with LA just shows the beauty of the future of hip hop and the crossing of multiple genres or sounds. @Drewshotya definitely did his justice by capturing shots and scenes that were interesting and not corny. There are times when visual directors will try to be too creative, but this trio worked together to make something that let Bravo and Sosa set the tone throughout the whole visual. |
