Lizzo has shared a new song, “Don’t Make Me Love U.” Her first new release of 2026, it’s paired with a music video that puts the star face to face with Cuz I Love You-era Lizzo. Naturally, some big emotions ensue. Check out the clip below.
Following the release of her most recent album, Special, in 2023, Lizzo was sued by former workers for sexual harassment and creating a hostile workplace. By 2025, she shared the singles “Love in Real Life” and “Still Down Bad,” and later announced an album titled Love in Real Life, though that has yet to receive a release date.
While Lizzo hasn’t shared a new album in three years, she’s remained active in other disciplines. In 2025, she was cast as Sister Rosetta Tharpe in a forthcoming biopic, which she’s co-producing alongside Forest Whitaker. She’ll also release her first children’s book, which follows a girl who befriends a flute, in September.
