Hip-hop powerhouse and multi-GRAMMY Award-nominated MyGuyMars sets the tone for 2022 with his first single and visual “FWM.” He enlisted Billboard top-charting producer 206Derek to produce the record. The video features rising actress Ayona of HBO’s Insecure and was directed by DepTVFilmz. “FWM” is the first track released off of his upcoming project “No Days Off 2” due out this Spring.
Palm trees line the twilight as the camera closes in on MyGuyMars freshly clad in a Def Jam West letterman jacket. “FWM” takes the viewer through the combined ambiance of sound, lighting, and visuals that project the world MyGuyMars is bringing the leading lady into. It’s an after-dark world of exclusivity found behind a false wall of a wine cellar somewhere in L.A., where red, blue, and green hues each take their turn dominating the scenes.
“FWM” is the perfect introduction to what MyGuyMars has in store for 2022, which includes a feature on ‘Hello My Name Is’ segment on Amazon Music’s partnership with Twitch. Already an accomplished producer, artist, DJ, and curator, it is no doubt that MyGuyMars continues to ascend and further solidify his already-established role in hip hop, leaving much to look forward to from “No Days Off 2.”
