Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have shared “Song for Amy,” a new song they made for the new Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black. It’s featured on the film’s soundtrack, as well as Cave and Ellis’ score album. Listen to the soundtrack and score albums below.
Back to Black is out now in UK theaters, and a U.S. release is scheduled for Friday, May 17. The movie’s first official trailer arrived in February. Sam Taylor-Johnson directed the film, with Marisa Abela in the lead role.
Cave and Ellis have plenty more work on the horizon, notably the Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds album Wild God, which features Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood on bass. The LP, out August 30, was led by the title track.
