Notable Director Alex Acosta Is Behind Many Fan-Favorite Visuals

Native to Bronx, NY, director, editor and cinematographer Alex Acosta has over 10 years of extensive experience, capitalizing off of his originality and distinctive work style. A creative genius years in the making, Acosta has produced some of the most unique music videos and featured film productions  — which keeps his brand everlasting. As head of his own production company, Prestige Film Works, Acosta has turned his passion into a prime career, and the hard work is paying off endlessly. 

Prestige Film Works initial specialty has been music videos for some years, and Acosta’s stellar work has garnered him several notable clients, like Wale, Shy Glizzy, Juicy J, Flo Rida, Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Jadakiss, City Girls, and many more. However, music videos are not Acosta’s only unique product. He has had his hand in several featured films productions, marketing campaigns and much more, with some of America’s largest networks.

His directorial credits can be seen among platforms like BET, REVOLT, MTV, FUSE, ESPN and ABC, and this shows how Acosta is truly not new to the game. From directing season 1 of Revolt TV’s new series “Respectfully Justin”, — to directing the official visual for Flo Rida’s 6x Platinum single “Welcome To My House”, Acosta has been well on his way to legendary notoriety. He has even contributed to shows like Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and Jimmy Kimmel. His work has been accredited so much so that Acosta has shot all around the world, in Italy, Dubai, Egypt, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Canada, Russia, London, and even Lebanon. 

With hopes of getting some of his films and series onto the big screens, and even possibly garnering collaborations with the digital big screens, like Netflix, Hulu, and more, Acosta’s work-ethic is bound to achieve such a goal. With such an extensive amount of knowledge and experience when it comes to his craft with a camera, Acosta can clearly achieve much of anything. Keep up with Alex Acosta below.
