Offset is coming to the defense of Lizzo.
TMZ caught up with the Atlanta rapper on Thursday and asked what he thought about the controversy. In response, Offset urged fans to let ‘Black women be great’ and asked for less judgment.
As one third of the popular rap group Migos, Offset is no stranger to controversy and public opinion. “Let these beautiful Black women be great, stop judging,” Offset pleaded. “We work hard to be entertainers for the world. Let us be,” he added.

The news comes after Facebook decided to scrub the negative comments from the “Rumors” singer’s posts. Offset’s wife Cardi B did not stay silent on the matter either. She defended Lizzo following a tearful conversation she had on Instagram Live.
“When you stand up for yourself they claim your problematic & sensitive,” Bardi B wrote. “When you don’t they tear you apart until you crying like this. Whether you skinny, big, plastic, they going to always try to put their insecurities on you. Remember these are nerds looking at the popular table.”
Offset and Cardi B weighed in on the hate Lizzo received. Do you think the negative comments online are problematic or something one could ignore?
