No doubt the rising rapper is getting his bands up, but the video proves he’s still the same proud South Memphis native that can kick it with his crew by the corner store. A lowkey track from his recent Time is Muney project, “Change Up” finds Kenny reflecting on his come-up and staying true to himself over the wistful guitars and thumping beat. He’s expanding his arsenal of talents with this one, as the video was directed by none other than Kenny himself. It’s dope to see how to open Kenny is about his struggles of coming up in Memphis while still showing love to the city and his day ones who remain loyal to him on his journey to the top.
