Quavo Puts His Spotify Billion Stream Plaque To Good Use

Quavo hit an astounding 1 billion Spotify streams for Post Malone’s 2016 record that he was featured on, “Congratulations.”

The streaming platform commemorated the moment by sending the Migos rapper a plaque that featured a platinum plate on Tuesday (October 27). And much like Drake’s infamous drink from his Grammy in 2013, Quavo decided to eat a hearty breakfast on top of his in a social media clip.

Without saying a word, Quavo chomps on his scrambled eggs, waffles and hashbrowns sitting soaked in syrup on top of his new Spotify plaque.

“Congratulations” was the fifth single off Post’s debut album Stoney and peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, making for Post’s first top 10 single and Quavo’s second, following Migos’ “Bad and Boujee” with Lil Uzi Vert months prior.

Quavo inadvertently sparked an internet-wide debate this week following his Instagram Live with girlfriend Saweetie on Thursday (October 22). After the “Icy Grl” rapper informed the audiences that “If he not giving you a Birkin, if he not paying for yo bills, then throw that nigga back to the streets,” the Migos star shrugged in agreement before continuing with the Live – which went on to create a ton of feedback from people.

Some feel the debate is ridiculous and no man should be held to the standard of having to buy his girl a bag that starts at a minimum of $9,000 for the smallest piece in their collection. Others, like “Worth It” singer YK Osiris, thinks it’s about time women start demanding their worth. Lil Durk says he’s just going to buy his girl some propriety instead, however.
