Serving up flex-heavy rhymes with a deep voice, Rich Amiri has his own unique sound. Following the release of his Internet Money Records/10K Projects debut project EVOLUTION earlier this month, Rich continues his run, sharing the video for project highlight “Best Friend.” Produced by Internet Money’s Ayosauce and Radiate, the synthy banger finds the Boston riser doing some humble flexing as he reminds the ladies and the haters that they could never get too close to him: “Better not be lackin’, brodie catch you, you get flattened/I beat that h* back in and now she wanna be my best friend/Don’t do textin’, break up with a text, man.” The Keaton Jones-directed video sees Amiri chilling alongside two besties at a photoshoot, making it clear that he always keeps the baddies in rotation.
“Best Friend” is another installment from EVOLUTION, following recent videos for project opener “Mention,” the brewing heater “Salty,” and the energetic “Poppin’” featuring Lil Tecca. Keep your eyes peeled for what Rich Amiri has coming next!
